This one is a banger。 （view spoiler）[ So far， I've been neither/here nor there with the Wano Arc， but this volume takes everything including the One Piece lore （for better or for worse） to a whole 'nother level。 For me， Law and Kid vs Big Mama steals the whole show in this volume。 The action is easy to follow， yet strategical in its own way。 It's a treat to see the Supernova's duke it out and beat a Yonko。 Mind you， I do believe that Law could have easily used his 'Silent Room' way earlier and i This one is a banger。 （view spoiler）[ So far， I've been neither/here nor there with the Wano Arc， but this volume takes everything including the One Piece lore （for better or for worse） to a whole 'nother level。 For me， Law and Kid vs Big Mama steals the whole show in this volume。 The action is easy to follow， yet strategical in its own way。 It's a treat to see the Supernova's duke it out and beat a Yonko。 Mind you， I do believe that Law could have easily used his 'Silent Room' way earlier and it would have possibly shifted the tide of the fight way before the Soul Pocus stuff， but I digress。 Next you have Luffy vs Kaido， and the truth about Luffy's Gomu-Gomu Devil Fruit is revealed。 Apparently， Luffy's fruit is a Mythical Zoan fruit， that embodies the Sun God Nika （which includes his rubber properties）--and it is revealed that Luffy is Joyboy。 Many readers have spectated this for a long time， but now its finally brought to light。 Luffy's power up is outlandish with a move-set reminiscent of old 1930's American slapstick comedy found in the Looney Tunes， Popeye the Sailor， Tom and Jerry and other cartoons。 And Luffy going into Kaido's eyes gave me straight Jim Carrey's The Mask vibes。 It's not necessarily my cup of tea， but Oda's always commented about his interest in seeing an extremely strong character with humorous powers。 And clearly， he's had this moment for Luffy in the back-burner for years in the making。 So I'll take it！ Mind you， the whole thing feels broken， lol。 Considering Oda's affinity towards religious symbology， this time with Buddhism。 I think it's clear that there is something linking Joyboy， Roger and Luffy。 Reincarnation perhaps？ I wonder if Zunesha has anything else to say about that。 （hide spoiler）] 。。。more
